a movement against new tax measures</p>

Bulwagang Tandang Sora, College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD), University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City</p>
<p>The coalition aims to unite labor organizations, farmers, urban-based associations, the academe, business groups, legislators, policy-makers, economic experts and concerned sectors and individuals to resist the government&#8217;s proposed new tax measures. <span id="more-16"></span></p>
<p>Speakers include Sen. Aquilino Pimentel, former budget secretary Salvador Enriquez, Jr., former BIR commissioner Liwayway Vinzons-Chato, tax expert Milwida Guevarra, businessman Francis Chua and Rep. Eduardo Zialcita, Gabriela Women&#8217;s Party Rep. Liza Maza, Bayan Muna Rep. Teddy Casiño, Carmen Deunida (Anakpawis), Trixie Concepcion (TXTPower) and Bayan&#8217;s Renato Reyes, Jr. (see attached program).</p>
