Hero’s Burial

Prof. Haydee Yorac was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani today. “A sucker for helping the country” like her more than deserved it.

    Haydee Yorac, Raul Roco, Teddy Benigno
    Who’ll be next?
    Praises and flowers flow
    But eulogies are wasted for the dead
    It’s time NOW that we ask ( Senator Salonga? Justice Isagani Cruz? )
    Those still with us today
    And heed their voices
    Unitil it’s again time
    For flowers and praises.

    It is true that Haydee is not around anymore but she still left a legacy
    of integrity,incorruptibility,credibility and dedication to public service to
    the younger generation.
